The World Wide Web changed the world of mass communication for the better. It made communication faster and more effective. The world of communication is now at the tip of fingers and we can get replies to our questions within seconds. It used to take days and even years to find out the answers to our questions. The personal blogging platform gave people a place to share their ideas with others.
Blogging acted as a disruptive technology by giving people a place to share their ideas and for others to read them within seconds. Before you would have to publish a book or a article and that could take months. If Martin Luther King Jr. had the Internet he would have used it to publish his speech's and share his ideas about the civil rights movement. The Internet and blogging help people bounce their ideas off one and other and this can lead to social movements.
The hardest thing about keeping up with my blog was the time commitment. Sometimes I would forget to do a blog, and have to do an extra the next week to make up for it. My advice for keeping up with your blog is to manage your time, and making sure you do a blog post every week. Pick a certain day or even time to do your blogs, and keep on top of it.
